Customer Support Clerk

About the role

GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS) is looking for a Customer Support Clerk. The role monitors and processes customer orders so that on-time delivery and site sales targets are met. GEAESS is the group's largest site for engine component maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), covering more than 60% of global repair volume.

Key responsibilities

• Track the status of customer orders to make sure they are completed on time.
• Work with shop production control technicians or planners on order delays and agree a re-estimated ship date.
• Highlight delays and issues with orders to the customer service account holder so they can follow up with customers.
• Process orders by completing scrap replacement allocations (if any) and generating documents for shipment and billing.
• Assist in answering customer inquiries.
• Take part in EHS and teaming activities.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE 'O' level / SPM, or 3 years of relevant experience.
• Able to read and understand manufacturing operation sheets and standard operating procedures in English.
• An organized and responsive person who is willing to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications such as Excel and Word.
