Cyber Security Engineer – Up to SGD 6,000 per month

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Cyber Security Engineer to protect our digital assets and lead our security initiatives. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to implement robust security controls, respond to incidents, and continuously improve our security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead security awareness training, phishing simulations and assessments.
• Conduct IT security risk assessments and drive remediation across the organization.
• Oversee vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and security audits, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
• Develop and maintain security frameworks, policies and guidelines aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor security systems, detect unauthorized access and respond to threats.
• Direct incident response activities, including investigation, root‑cause analysis and documentation.
• Research emerging threats and propose mitigation strategies.
• Provide technical security advice to infrastructure, application and business teams.
• Support governance and compliance assessments through accurate documentation and risk metrics.
• Manage IT security audit processes and address auditor queries.

Required profile

• Recognised degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT security role.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Preferred certifications: CRISC, CISM and/or CISSP.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with EDR and NDR solutions.
• Firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS) and web security controls.
• Vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus).
• Email security, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Microsoft Purview.
• Secure network protocols and related configuration.
