About the role
We are seeking a Cyber Security Researcher focused on embedded devices to investigate emerging threats and develop cutting‑edge protection mechanisms for firmware and applications. The role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of embedded platforms, from microcontrollers to full Linux‑based systems.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research to gain in‑depth understanding of emerging security threats in embedded systems and devices.
- Design, develop and implement innovative security solutions running on embedded devices, including firmware and application software, to mitigate threats.
Required profile
- Background in Infocomm Security, Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or equivalent.
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Creative, innovative, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
Required skills
- C/C++ programming.
- Hardware hacking.
- RF communications.
- Experience with embedded Linux.
- Experience with FreeRTOS.
- Microcontroller development.
