Cyber Security Vulnerability Researcher (Web Applications)

About the role

The Cyber Security Vulnerability Researcher will focus on web applications, analysing their architectures to uncover security flaws that could be exploited by malicious actors. The role involves both research and hands‑on testing to strengthen the security posture of our products.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis of web application architectures to identify implementation weaknesses and potential exploitation paths.
• Perform information security assessments, including vulnerability research, penetration testing, code auditing, black‑box testing, reverse engineering, proof‑of‑concept simulations and malware analysis.

Required profile

• Academic background in Infocomm Security, Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or equivalent.
• Strong interest and passion for information security.
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Creative, innovative, self‑motivated and capable of working independently.

Required skills

• Knowledge of web programming languages such as PHP, Java, JavaScript and .NET.
• Experience with penetration testing and vulnerability research.
• Proficiency in code auditing, black‑box testing, reverse engineering, proof‑of‑concept development and malware analysis.
