About the role

PwC is seeking motivated Polytechnic students to join its Risk Services Cybersecurity Audit team as Assistant Associates for the 2026 intake. This internship offers hands‑on experience in cyber security audits, risk assessments, and the exploration of AI and automation tools to improve audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support the team in performing cyber security audit and risk assessment activities.
• Assist in documenting audit procedures, findings, and recommendations.
• Review IT systems, processes, and controls to identify gaps or improvement areas.
• Research cyber security trends, frameworks, and best practices.
• Gather and analyse data, preparing audit working papers and reports.
• Explore and prototype AI‑enabled solutions, scripts, dashboards, or workflow improvements.
• Contribute ideas to enhance team efficiency, reporting quality, and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate on special projects related to cyber security, audit innovation, and process transformation.

Required profile

• Pursuing a Diploma in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong curiosity and motivation to learn about audit and cyber security.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a professional services environment.
