CyberSecurity Consultant

About the role

Ingram Micro is looking for a CyberSecurity Consultant to design, implement and operate security solutions for its customers. The role focuses primarily on SIEM/SOC deployments while also supporting PAM, endpoint and EDR technologies. You will work closely with clients, vendors and internal teams to deliver secure, compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and operate cyber security solutions, primarily SIEM/SOC and secondarily PAM/Endpoint/EDR.
• Install and configure stacks from IBM Security, Elastic, Trend Micro and Delinea.
• Produce comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, design, implementation, use cases and operational guides.
• Deliver solution demos, proofs of concept and presales architectural support.
• Lead client workshops to gather requirements and translate business processes into technical designs.
• Perform remote and onsite troubleshooting and provide knowledge transfer to operations teams.
• Develop integration scripts using PowerShell, APIs and command‑line tools.
• Collaborate with vendor engineering and support teams to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Security or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in cyber security solutions, with 3+ years in SIEM/SOC implementation.
• 2+ years of experience with Endpoint/EDR solutions.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CISM, CEH or CCSK (preferred).
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle tight deadlines.

Required skills

• SIEM/SOC platforms (IBM Security, Elastic, etc.).
• PAM solutions (Delinea).
• Endpoint/EDR products (Trend Micro, etc.).
• Windows PowerShell scripting and API integration.
• Programming in at least one language (Java, C#, Python).
• Microsoft and Linux administration and hardening.
• Knowledge of standards and frameworks (ISO 9000, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, GDPR).
