About the role

Join Seagate’s AI and Tools Development team as a Data Scientist I. You will work alongside senior data scientists to turn large, complex datasets into actionable insights that accelerate product development and drive innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing large datasets from internal and external sources.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Develop and implement machine‑learning models and algorithms under senior guidance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to translate business problems into data‑driven solutions.
• Create clear visualisations and reports for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Participate actively in team meetings, technical discussions, and continuous‑learning initiatives.
