Global System Administrator – Singapore

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Global System Administrator to join Vitol’s Singapore team. The role will own the design, deployment, and day‑to‑day operation of a complex, multi‑system IT environment supporting a global energy business.

Key responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, configure and maintain over 100 Windows Server 2019/2025 virtual machines.
• Manage VMware vCenter and ESXi clusters, automate tasks with PowerCLI and vRealize Orchestrator.
• Administer NetApp MetroCluster SAN storage (NFS, CIFS, MPIO) and oversee data‑centre rack, capacity and hardware lifecycle.
• Run enterprise backups with Veeam Backup & Replication and maintain disaster‑recovery runbooks.
• Deploy patches and manage endpoints via MECM, Microsoft Intune and AirWatch (Workspace ONE).
• Handle Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Group Policy and Azure Entra ID with hybrid identity, Conditional Access, MFA and PIM.
• Administer on‑premises Microsoft Exchange Server 2019 and Microsoft 365 collaboration services, including mail flow, security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, S/MIME) and encryption.
• Coordinate projects end‑to‑end, work with professional services, and produce clear documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience managing large‑scale Windows Server and virtualised environments.
• Proven ability to operate in a global, multi‑site infrastructure with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Hands‑on experience with data‑centre operations, backup/DR and endpoint management.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
