Data Warehouse Engineer Graduate – Data Platform (2027 start)

About the role

The PGC Data BP team empowers TikTok's PGC business through data, building warehouses that support batch and streaming processing and delivering actionable insights. As a graduate you will join a fast‑moving environment, tackling complex challenges and contributing to data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in building offline and real‑time data warehouses for the TikTok PGC business.
• Work with petabyte‑scale data and support daily processing of hundreds of billions of user records.
• Support the full big‑data lifecycle, including data generation, transmission, modeling, statistical analysis, experiment evaluation, and visualization.
• Design and build scalable data flows, warehouses, scheduling systems, query engines, data services, analytics systems, process standards, and data tools/products to lower barriers to data usage and ensure stable operations.

Required profile

• Completed or soon‑to‑complete Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong coding skills in SQL, Python, Scala, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience or strong interest in big‑data tools and frameworks such as Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Flink, Kafka, and HBase.
