Deals – Merger & Acquisition Operation Director

About the role

PwC is seeking a senior leader to head the operational side of merger and acquisition transactions within its Deals Advisory practice. The role will support clients across the full deal lifecycle, from pre‑deal diligence through post‑integration, ensuring maximum value is delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of target data, focusing on supply‑chain management and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Lead pre‑deal and confirmatory due‑diligence activities across functional areas such as IT, operations, and human capital.
• Design and execute large‑scale enterprise integrations and complex divestitures.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, identifying service opportunities and coordinating with specialist teams.
• Drive business development initiatives and contribute to the evolution of service offerings.
• Mentor and sponsor team members to help them achieve their potential.

Required profile

• Extensive consulting or industry experience in M&A operations or deal advisory.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑disciplinary integration projects and complex separations.
• Strong client‑facing skills with a track record of building long‑term relationships.
• Leadership experience in guiding senior‑level teams and driving business development.
