Deputy Director, Culture Transformation

About the role

NHG is looking for a Deputy Director to act as the cluster's project manager for its One NHG Culture Transformation initiative. The role ensures that culture transformation initiatives are planned, executed, tracked and sustained, and provides guidance, planning, monitoring and management of funding and resources at cluster level. It is also the point of contact for institutions' culture implementation leads.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans for cultural transformation initiatives, from inception to completion, aligned with NHG and its institutions
• Set project objectives, milestones and deliverables with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• Support the Culture Transformation Steering Committee as secretariat
• Build partnerships with consultants and relationships with the Executive Group, institution senior management and culture work stream leads
• Communicate project goals, progress and outcomes through presentations, meetings and reports
• Coordinate the Culture Champion Committee of Practice for cross-institution learning
• Support change management strategies and identify barriers to cultural change
• Work with NHG College, HR and Learning & Development to deliver training and workshops
• Define metrics and KPIs to measure impact on engagement, satisfaction and alignment, and report on performance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Human Resources or a related field; a Master's or relevant certification (e.g. PMP, Change Management, PROSCI) is a plus
• 8 to 10 years of experience in project management, organizational development or change management, ideally in healthcare or a large complex organization
• Proven track record of leading culture transformation projects
