Deputy Director, Group Talent Management

About the role

NHG is looking for a Deputy Director, Group Talent Management. The role leads the group's talent management and succession planning framework (TMSP) and its operational cycles, working with institutions, senior management and cross-cluster stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with institutions, NHG senior management (CEOs and above) and Ministry of Health stakeholders to shape and strengthen the TMSP framework, policies and strategies
• Drive digitalisation of TMSP delivery, including developing a TMSP module in the new HR system
• Represent NHG in other Ministry of Health talent initiatives such as Healthcare 360
• Oversee talent review and succession planning with CEOs, annual Hipo nominations, leadership programme nominations and cluster talent rotations
• Act as institution trainer for Collective Leadership Conversations and partner with HQ teams on ad hoc L&OD applications
• Contribute to group-level workgroups and HR projects where TMSP expertise is needed

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a postgraduate qualification in a related discipline is an advantage
• At least 8-10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial position
• Strong stakeholder management at C-suite level and a strong sense of confidentiality
