Deputy Director, Human Resources (Nursing HRBP)

About the role

Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), an anchor hospital of NHG Health in Singapore, is recruiting a Deputy Director of Human Resources focused on Strategic HR Partnering. Reporting to the Chief HR Officer, you will lead a team of HR Business Partners and partner with the Chief Nurse and other senior leaders to shape nursing workforce strategies, talent agendas and enterprise-wide HR transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Translate organisational priorities into nursing workforce strategies and shape the nursing talent agenda, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, career management, retention, succession planning and leadership development.
• Drive workforce transformation, change management and organisational excellence, and co-create future job roles in response to changing healthcare needs.
• Advise on complex employee relations, performance management and talent management, balancing organisational priorities with people considerations.
• Use workforce data and insights to support evidence-based decisions and improve engagement and retention, and champion digital HR solutions and process improvement.
• Build partnerships across HR Centres of Expertise, Shared Services, Finance, Operations and Group HR to deliver integrated HR solutions.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing HRBP team and lead enterprise-wide HR initiatives beyond the Nursing group.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience with significant enterprise-level exposure.
• Proven track record of leading teams, influencing and managing senior leaders and stakeholders, and turning business priorities into people strategies.
• Experience in workforce planning, organisational development, talent management and change management.
• Ability to lead in complexity and ambiguity, influence across levels and align diverse stakeholders.
• Healthcare experience is an added advantage but not essential; complex, people-intensive industries are also welcomed.

• Advanced data and analytics fluency, including query, interpretation and storytelling.
• AI literacy to shape practical use cases and adoption guardrails.
