Deputy/Assistant Programme Manager, LTA Academy

About the role

The Land Transport Authority's Learning Office runs the LTA Academy, a division whose vision is to be a leading global institution on land transport and whose mission is to enhance the culture of learning and deliver competency-based training for LTA officers and the industry. This Deputy/Assistant Programme Manager position sits in the Academy's Programmes Management team, which leads the development of training interventions with strong oversight of training programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Work in the programme administration and management team that organises and delivers internal training for LTA staff and the land transport industry.
• Collaborate with in-house specialists, other public sector agencies, local and foreign higher education institutions, professional associations and training providers.
• Assist in using data analytics to report on training effectiveness, return on investment, and trainer and resource management.
• Help promote self-directed learning.
• Keep up with the latest learning technologies, such as VR/AR/MR; familiarity with Learning Management Systems is advantageous.

Required profile

• At least 2-3 years' experience in a training environment.
• Well-grounded knowledge of training and development theory and practice, covering programme development, delivery and evaluation.
• Ability to work independently and as a team, with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good networking, analytical and communication skills.
