Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our team under the guidance of the Design Manager. You will be responsible for developing and coordinating M&E ACMV systems across a variety of projects, ensuring technical compliance and value engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret project requirements, including architectural, structural, and MEP specifications.
• Develop M&E ACMV designs, select equipment, materials, and create system layouts and drawings.
• Coordinate ACMV designs with architectural and structural plans for compatibility and safety.
• Prepare detailed M&E ACMV specifications and performance requirements.
• Guide BIM modelers to produce accurate BIM models for visualization, clash detection, and coordination.
• Review and approve shop drawings to ensure compliance with design intent.
• Monitor installation, conduct testing, and oversee commissioning to meet performance standards.
• Continuously learn new methodologies and adopt innovative tools.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Sustainable Infrastructure accepted).
• Project ACMV experience; fresh graduates are encouraged.
• Safety certification – minimum Bizsafe Level 2 (training provided if needed).
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work across multiple local sites.
