Design Lead

About the role

We’re IG Group, a FTSE‑100 FinTech company delivering trading platforms for stocks, crypto and more. We’re looking for a Design Lead to head our design team, ensuring visual creative execution that is on‑brand, compliant and technically excellent across all digital and print touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the design team’s execution and quality of all creative deliverables.
• Lead design reviews, providing constructive feedback to raise design standards.
• Collaborate with art direction and copywriting to develop integrated creative concepts.
• Ensure all outputs meet brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Manage design workflows and coordinate with external design partners and vendors.
• Support the development and capability building of the design team.
• Maintain design asset libraries and file organization systems.
• Guarantee compliance with accessibility standards and brand guidelines across assets.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in design leadership or senior design roles.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence and solid conceptual thinking.
• Proven ability to manage design teams and complex workflows under pressure.
• Excellent quality‑assurance and design‑review skills.
• Understanding of file preparation for digital and print production.
