Design Lead

About the role

IG Group, a FTSE100 FinTech company, is looking for a Design Lead to head its design team. You will be responsible for ensuring visual consistency, brand compliance and technical excellence across all digital and print assets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee design team execution and maintain high quality of all creative deliverables.
• Lead design reviews, provide constructive feedback and raise design standards.
• Collaborate with art direction and copywriting to develop integrated creative concepts.
• Ensure all outputs meet brand guidelines, regulatory requirements and accessibility standards.
• Manage design workflows, coordinate with external design partners and maintain asset libraries.
• Support team development, capability building and file organization systems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in design leadership or senior design roles.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence and conceptual thinking.
• Proven ability to manage design teams and complex workflows under pressure.
• Experience working with external vendors and ensuring brand compliance.
