About the role
A permanent, five-day-a-week desktop publishing designer position based in Eunos. The designer prepares and checks artwork for signs such as indoor and outdoor displays, safety signs, car wraps and lightboxes, and acts as the link between design and the production team.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and check artwork for signs including indoor/outdoor displays, safety signs, car wraps and lightboxes.
- Ensure designs are the right size, layout and format for printing.
- Liaise with clients and adjust designs for different materials such as vinyl, acrylic, aluminium or fabric according to client requirements.
- Bridge design and production so that real production can take place.
Required profile
- HNC/HND in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or similar.
- Understanding of printing setup, colour (CMYK/RGB) and scaling.
- Knowledge of signage materials and printing processes.
- Experience in signage or print production is an added advantage.
Required skills
- Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
- CMYK/RGB colour understanding and scaling.
