About the role
We are looking for a customer‑focused Desktop Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT operations team. You will provide first‑ and second‑level support to enterprise users, ensuring a seamless technology experience across a large‑scale environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver first and second‑level technical support for hardware, software, operating systems and workplace technology.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests while meeting service level targets.
- Perform laptop and desktop deployment, imaging, re‑imaging, hardware refreshes and device configuration.
- Support Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Outlook, Teams, printers, mobile devices and standard enterprise applications.
- Manage IT assets, inventory records and equipment lifecycle activities.
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams, vendors and specialist groups to resolve complex issues.
- Maintain accurate ticket documentation and contribute to knowledge articles and SOPs.
- Participate in IT operational projects, workplace technology upgrades and refresh initiatives.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in Desktop Support, IT Helpdesk, Service Desk or End‑User Computing environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows OS, Office 365, Outlook and enterprise workplace technologies.
- Experience with desktop imaging, hardware support, user administration and ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced enterprise setting.
