DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Edge Deployment

About the role

We are looking for a proactive DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain cloud and edge deployment platforms. You will work across cloud, on‑premise and air‑gapped environments, ensuring reliable, automated delivery of software and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Azure/GCP (and optionally Alibaba Cloud) environments, Docker, Kubernetes, VMs and on‑prem infrastructure.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, security and observability tooling.
• Develop deployment scripts, installation packages, upgrade/rollback procedures and release documentation for private and restricted‑network deployments.
• Integrate with BMS/DCIM, IoT gateways and customer systems; build data ingestion pipelines using Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, REST APIs and databases.
• Leverage AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Pi) to automate scripting, troubleshooting and documentation.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data‑science, project teams, customers and vendors to deliver deployments and resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• 2–6 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, platform or deployment engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Shell/Python scripting, CI/CD, logging, monitoring and networking.
• Familiarity with Azure, GCP (or Alibaba Cloud) and experience supporting private, restricted‑network or air‑gapped deployments.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Experience using AI coding tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and reports.
