Digital Tax Manager / Senior Manager

About the role

PwC's Digital Tax team combines tax and technology subject matter experts to transform and automate business processes such as corporate income tax, transfer pricing and goods and services tax, using off-the-shelf applications and bespoke products. This manager role works with clients and internal stakeholders to drive value through data-driven, technology-enabled tax solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, assess and challenge business requirements with clients and business units across the Tax function
• Evaluate current business processes and develop optimisation strategies
• Drive innovation to bring productivity and cost savings, and stay up to date on IT advancements
• Oversee digital solution development from presales and post-sales to delivery and implementation
• Deliver presales and post-sales consulting to grow business for tax technology solutions
• Collaborate with business units and project teams on large-scale digital solutions, keeping projects within budget and supporting global projects

Required profile

• 6 to 10 years of experience in digital projects as a Business Analyst
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Accountancy, Finance or a similar quantitative field
• Proven track record of delivering digital products
• Strong team player with partnership-building and cross-border collaboration skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Knowledge of at least one coding language
• Experience with data transformation, RPA software and business intelligence tools such as Alteryx and Power BI
• Understanding of tax and statutory reporting automation
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good to have: machine learning algorithms, web-based solutions, and end-to-end system maintenance
