Director, Asia Cluster Digital Technologies Lead

About the role

The Director, Asia Cluster Digital Technologies Lead will shape and deliver a business‑led technology strategy for Mars Snacking across Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Reporting to the Cluster Leadership Team, this role translates business priorities into scalable digital solutions that drive growth, operational excellence and value realization.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted strategic partner to the Cluster Leadership Team, translating business strategy into a clear DT roadmap.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of digital initiatives, balancing growth, innovation, operational excellence and cost efficiency.
• Champion digital transformation across sales, marketing, supply chain, R&D and enabling functions, ensuring strong adoption and measurable value.
• Collaborate with regional and global DT teams, leveraging scaled platforms while maintaining local relevance.
• Ensure reliable, secure and efficient IT operations, overseeing service levels, risk management and compliance.
• Manage OPEX and CapEx budgets, aligning spend with business priorities.
• Build and lead a high‑performing DT team across Asia, driving talent acquisition, development and succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10‑15+ years of experience in Digital Technologies/IT leadership, preferably in FMCG or CPG.
• Proven track record of business transformation, digital strategy execution and large‑scale technology program delivery.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end FMCG operations (Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, R&D, Finance).
• Experience working in matrixed, regional/global organisations with executive‑level communication skills.
