Director, Commercial Operation Vision Care APAC

About the role

Alcon, the global leader in eye care, is seeking a Regional Director of Commercial Operations for Vision Care in the APAC region. The role is responsible for driving commercial excellence, shaping go‑to‑market strategies, pricing and professional education to improve business performance and customer impact.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑shape sales vision, strategy and go‑to‑market plans for APAC Vision Care sales organisations, including BDMs, PSMs and Inside Sales.
• Provide guidance on sales force design – segmentation, structure, size, KPIs and incentives – tailored to each country.
• Oversee the regional Inside Sales team and support country franchise heads with tools, technology and execution metrics.
• Define and lead the regional key‑account strategy, building a community of Head of Sales and Head of Key Accounts to share best practices.
• Lead the APAC pricing strategy for the full Vision Care portfolio in partnership with the International Pricing team.
• Set regional professional‑education priorities and coordinate with country Professional Education Managers.

Required profile

• University degree or advanced degree in business, marketing or economics.
• Minimum 15 years of commercial leadership experience, including at least 3 years as Head of Sales or Head of Key Accounts.
• Proven multi‑country or APAC experience and ability to influence non‑direct teams in a matrix organisation.
• Fluency in English; additional Asian languages are a plus.
