Director of Customer Financing - Asia

About the role

The Director of Customer Financing will strengthen GE Aerospace’s relationships with airline financing and treasury teams, as well as with financiers across Asia. Reporting to senior leadership, the role partners closely with sales, risk, product line and finance teams to support airline campaigns and the sale of engines, parts and services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead interactions with banks, ECAs, DFIs and other investors to design innovative funding solutions for customers.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Customer Support, Risk, Product Line and Finance to secure financing for transactions.
• Drive revenue targets, mitigate credit risk and enable shop visits throughout the region.
• Act as a trusted advisor to airline treasury and financing teams, building long‑term relationships.
• Provide input to credit assessment models and macro‑credit event analysis for senior management.
• Oversee portfolio management of financing transactions in Asia.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer financing, preferably within the aviation or aerospace sector.
• Strong network with financial institutions, ECAs and DFIs in Asia.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business functions.
• Excellent analytical skills for credit risk assessment and macro‑economic analysis.
