Director of Operations – Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Director of Operations to lead manufacturing, logistics, quality assurance, and facility management in a cutting‑edge environment. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on execution to ensure efficient, sustainable, and high‑quality operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing and production, including print‑on‑demand and offset printing, to optimise output and sustainability.
• Lead integration and optimisation of automated warehousing and inventory management systems.
• Drive sustainability initiatives across production and logistics, reporting progress toward targets.
• Maintain rigorous quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, using data‑driven improvements.
• Ensure equipment performance through preventive and predictive maintenance and spare‑parts management.
• Lead a team of managers, conduct performance reviews, set goals, and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years in manufacturing and supply‑chain operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, able to influence cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Confident, intellectually sharp, hands‑on, and pragmatic with a focus on operational excellence.
• Adaptable, collaborative, and capable of managing technical and interpersonal challenges.
