Director of Talent Development & Inclusion – APAC

About the role

Western Digital is seeking a Director of Talent Development & Inclusion for the APAC region. The leader will translate global talent, development and inclusion strategy into locally relevant programs that build stronger leaders, more effective managers and engaged employees across diverse APAC markets.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Talent Development and Inclusion partner for APAC, representing the function across all regional locations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and HR leaders, building strong, credible relationships.
• Surface development needs, align on priorities and co‑design solutions that balance global direction with local context.
• Partner with functional learning teams such as the Tech Talent Academy to upskill employees across APAC.
• Connect global TD&I strategy to regional deployment, ensuring programs are relevant, high‑quality and deliver measurable impact.
• Lead the design and delivery of global leadership and manager development programs across APAC.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading talent development and inclusion initiatives at a regional or enterprise level.
• Ability to partner with senior business and HR leaders and act as a trusted advisor.
• Strong relationship‑building skills across diverse cultures.
• Capability to translate strategy into scalable actions at speed.
