Director, Photo MAP (Metrology, Applications, Process)

About the role

Micron Technology is hiring a Director of Photo MAP (Metrology, Applications, Process) to lead a global organization responsible for photolithography and metrology performance across its manufacturing network. The role drives innovation, standardization and transformation in lithography productivity, overlay control and manufacturing excellence, and develops strategies that align with Micron's business priorities and long-term goals.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing global team through coaching, mentoring, succession planning and talent development, and foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Define and execute global strategies and technology roadmaps that deliver performance, productivity, quality and cost competitiveness.
• Improve equipment, process and application performance, and identify breakthrough opportunities for productivity, overlay control and efficiency.
• Champion AI, machine learning, advanced analytics and automation to improve decision-making, process control, defect reduction and productivity.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives that use data intelligence to accelerate technology development and optimize manufacturing.
• Partner with manufacturing sites, Technology Development, Process Integration Engineering and suppliers, and translate Voice of Customer insights into process and capability improvements.
• Support capacity expansions and greenfield projects with scalable, standardized lithography and metrology strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, materials science or a related technical field.
• At least 8 years of leadership experience, including leading managers and global teams.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale strategic and transformational initiatives.
• Proven ability to manage organizational resources, develop talent and build high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and strong project and program management capabilities.
