Divisional Finance Director

About the role

The Divisional Finance Director will partner with the Divisional Leadership Team to drive growth, ensure financial governance and deliver high‑quality client relationships. This senior finance leader will influence strategic decisions, oversee reporting and compliance, and support transformation initiatives across the division.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑quality client relationships across business units, building long‑term partnerships.
• Liaise with the wider CBRE Finance, Controllership, BSO and FP&A teams to provide ad‑hoc information and support.
• Understand, report on and deliver complex contractual obligations, including glide‑path savings and GMP commitments.
• Provide financial oversight during tender stages and ensure smooth transition to delivery.
• Drive transformation and client initiatives in close collaboration with other functions.
• Respond promptly to internal and external customers, maintaining clear communication and credibility.
• Review and challenge monthly Business Unit P&L, balance‑sheet and forecast submissions.
• Participate in divisional and business‑unit reviews, including contract and project reviews.
• Prepare accurate divisional reports, cost‑benefit analyses and proactive analytical work.
• Assess forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, and drive continuous improvement in reporting.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and support as required.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Controllership, BSO and FP&A to improve performance.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience within a large, complex organization.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage financial reporting, forecasting and compliance.
• Effective communication and relationship‑building capabilities.
