Driver (Regular/Contract)

About the role

JurongHealth Campus, part of the National University Health System (NUHS), is recruiting a driver on a regular or contract basis. The role involves maintaining hospital vehicles, coordinating transport requests such as patient transfers, and assisting patients and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles and ensure they stay clean and in good working condition
• Make sure preventive maintenance and servicing are done periodically
• Report faults and defects promptly
• Coordinate transport requests, including patient transfers to other hospitals or institutions
• Offer immediate assistance to patients and visitors, such as directions and wheelchairs
• Report service gaps to the Maintenance and Housekeeping departments
• Take part in ambulance exercises and drills, and ad hoc deployments such as FMT and VIP visits
• Help the supervisor with projects, service improvements, manpower planning and rosters

Required profile

• Singapore Class 3 and Class 4 driving licence
• Defensive driving qualification
• Able to work overtime to cover shortfalls if required
• Able to work rotating shifts
• First aid trained or BCLS certified candidates are preferred
