Duty Manager

About the role

The Duty Manager is the on‑shift leader responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. You will oversee daily operations, manage workforce deployment and act as the primary point of contact for customers, organisers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Champion guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and maintaining the highest service standards.
• Serve as the senior reporting officer on duty, handling escalations, complaints and special requests with sound judgment.
• Maintain a strong front‑of‑house presence, engage organisers and visitors, gather feedback and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead all event‑related operational activities to ensure seamless execution and compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct briefings for staff and suppliers, coordinate manpower deployment and supervise supplier performance.
• Manage emergency situations, coordinate communications and ensure calm, decisive action.
• Perform regular quality inspections, record shift logs and incident reports, and follow up across departments.
• Contribute to operational planning, process enhancements and development initiatives.
