Early Intervention Centre Manager (East)

About the role

The Manager, Early Intervention Centre (East) will lead a transdisciplinary team at the SPD EIPIC Centre, coordinating the ECHO framework and streamlining processes across the early intervention continuum. This role works closely with heads of teaching and allied health to enhance caregiver engagement and build collaborations with mainstream preschools and community organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop short‑ and long‑term strategic plans to grow centre programmes.
• Establish, implement and review operating, administrative and control policies.
• Ensure operations meet service standards, corporate governance and funder KPIs.
• Guide the EIPIC team to deliver high‑quality services for clients with developmental needs.
• Serve as primary administrative liaison with stakeholders and external organisations.
• Coordinate timely submission of statistics to funding bodies.
• Engage external institutions and community partners to support clients and caregivers.
• Oversee centre asset acquisition, compliance with regulations, tax, licensing and safety requirements.
• Develop income‑generation strategies and monitor programme expenditures.
• Manage audits conducted by MSF, ECDA and NCSS.
• Assist the Director in staff career progression, orientation, performance evaluation and recruitment.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and caregivers, handling feedback and queries.
• Lead collaborations with preschools and community organisations to promote inclusion.

Required profile

• Experience assisting senior leadership in staff development and defining responsibilities.
• Proven ability to orient new staff to organisational structure, policies and HR matters.
• Experience conducting interviews for recruitment or replacement positions.
• Strong capability to develop and implement strategic plans.
