Early Years Educator – English or Chinese

About the role

Little Paddington Preschool is seeking a full‑time Early Years Educator to deliver engaging lessons in either English or Chinese. Based on‑site in Singapore, you will join a multicultural team that values child‑led, inquiry‑based learning within the IPC curriculum framework.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver age‑appropriate, play‑based lessons in the chosen language.
• Facilitate social and emotional development through daily activities.
• Document children’s progress and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with families and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and events.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and school initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a childcare or preschool setting.
• Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant Early Childhood Education qualification, preferably recognised in Singapore.
• Proficiency in English or Mandarin, with confidence to deliver lessons and interact with families.
• Commitment to holistic, child‑centered, play‑based learning.
