eCommerce Manager – Lead Digital Sales Platform

About the role

As the eCommerce Manager you will lead the development and delivery of FWD Group’s eCommerce platform initiatives, ensuring high‑quality, secure and performant solutions that meet business needs across multiple Asian markets. You will provide hands‑on technical leadership while coaching a distributed team of developers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the eCommerce development team to deliver new initiatives, change requests and production support across multiple markets.
• Provide technical leadership in solution design, implementation and troubleshooting, ensuring robust, secure and high‑performance platforms.
• Oversee source‑code management, coding standards and compliance with security requirements.
• Collaborate with platform owners, business stakeholders, QA and DevOps to deliver regional eCommerce solutions that drive digital sales.
• Identify and implement process optimisations, performance improvements and adoption of new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related discipline (preferred).
• 4‑6 years of hands‑on full‑stack development experience and proven leadership of 3‑7 member project teams.
• Experience delivering medium to large scale projects and providing level‑2/3 production support.
• Strong understanding of UX, regulatory compliance and security testing.

Required skills

• ReactJS and NextJS (SSR/SSG) with TypeScript.
• Node.js and NestJS frameworks.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Docker, headless CMS, Storybook, GraphQL and MongoDB.
• SEO, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics optimisation.
• Test‑driven development (TDD) and Agile Scrum methodologies.
