Editorial Intern - Automotive Content

About the role

Motorist, Singapore's fastest-growing automotive start-up founded in 2015, offers an Editorial Internship. The intern acts as the backbone of the company, helping grow the Motorist brand through searchable and engaging content while meeting editorial deadlines and suggesting improvements to content and editorial efforts. The position is open to students currently studying in Polytechnics or universities.

Key responsibilities

• Produce automotive-related content such as articles, listicles, reviews, opinion pieces and write-ups
• Research and brainstorm ideas for articles, social media and campaigns
• Proofread, copywrite and edit articles, texts, messages, emails and other collaterals
• Make sure all content is engaging and web-friendly for SEO
• Maintain existing website articles, including updates, image curation and formatting
• Track the latest automotive trends in Singapore and monitor article performance
• Evaluate metrics affecting website traffic and conversions
• Collaborate with the marketing team on growth, engagement, promotion and conversion strategies
• Help with copywriting, public relations and customer success

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Diploma in Marketing or a Degree in Marketing
• Strong command of written and spoken English
• Creative, adaptable and able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Team player with good problem-solving and interpersonal skills
