Electrical & ELV Systems Engineer

About the role

E7 Engineering is seeking a qualified Engineer to lead the design, procurement and delivery of electrical, security, fire alarm and ELV projects on Jurong Island. You will work closely with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and client requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates, technical proposals and quotations for electrical, security, BMS, fire alarm and ELV systems.
• Plan and manage project execution, including procurement of materials, tools, equipment and manpower.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning and hand‑over of systems.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, suppliers, subcontractors and authorities.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety and compliance with specifications and standards.
• Prepare schedules, method statements, technical submissions and progress reports.
• Manage testing, commissioning activities and ensure successful system hand‑over.
• Handle project certifications, progress claims and payment collections.
• Evaluate, prepare and negotiate variation orders and additional work claims.

Required profile

• Professional engineering background with experience in electrical and ELV projects.
• Strong knowledge of local codes and standards for electrical, fire and security systems.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑disciplinary projects from tender to completion.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with all project stakeholders.
