ELV Lead Engineer

About the role

Serve as the ELV Lead Engineer, overseeing the technical and engineering management of extra‑low‑voltage (ELV) and IT systems across construction projects in Singapore. You will be responsible for system planning, design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and handover, ensuring performance, quality and safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the installation, configuration, testing, commissioning and maintenance of ELV and IT systems, providing technical guidance to engineers, technicians and subcontractors.
• Conduct testing, commissioning, inspections, troubleshooting and rectification to ensure systems meet project requirements and are ready for handover.
• Coordinate with clients, main contractors, consultants, subcontractors and vendors, conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues while monitoring progress.
• Review and maintain system drawings, test reports, inspection records and support preparation of as‑built drawings and handover documentation.
• Lead system testing and handover activities, closing out outstanding technical and site issues.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, IT, Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Relevant experience in ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, PA, and IT networks, including leading installation, testing and commissioning.
• Strong troubleshooting, leadership and problem‑solving abilities, with familiarity with Singapore construction site and safety requirements.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills; ability to work independently and lead site teams under project deadlines.
