Embedded Software Engineer - Firmware

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer, Firmware in Singapore. The role is designed as hybrid, with about two days per week spent working from an HPE office. You will join a team that designs, implements, tests and validates software for state-of-the-art networking products, and will learn on the job while growing into other platform work.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and gather project requirements, design sub-modules and investigate accordingly
• Identify risk factors and mitigate them
• Debug issues, derive fixes and close them with the relevant parties
• Take part in technical discussions, support decision-making and give regular technical updates to the team lead and manager
• Deliver tasks on time and ensure high-quality delivery

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Solid understanding of software development principles
• Interest and ability to investigate issues and develop solutions
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated and eager to learn
• Ability to collaborate with global, cross-functional teams
