Engagement Manager - Transportation

About the role

Oliver Wyman’s Transportation and Advanced Industrials (TAI) practice is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead project modules for clients in aviation, aerospace, rail and transportation. You will work closely with senior partners and clients to deliver strategic and operational solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage execution of project modules, including hypothesis development, data collection, modeling, analysis and research.
• Support partner groups in delivering high‑quality case work and client presentations.
• Own and develop executive client relationships, presenting insights to senior audiences.
• Coach and develop junior consultants, helping them build their skill sets.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in strategy consulting and/or aviation, aerospace, rail or transportation industries.
• Strong conceptual problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Proven track record of leading teams and meeting tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting to senior executives.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
• Willingness to travel.
