- Perform lot disposition by reviewing inspection results, process conditions, experimental requirements and operational guidelines, escalating abnormal findings to application engineers and process owners.
- Support setup, execution and maintenance of basic inspection recipes on optical inspection workstations in line with standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate and prioritize inspection requests from Process Integration, Process Development, Product Engineering and Manufacturing to meet cycle time and learning objectives.
- Track and communicate lot status, inspection progress, tool utilization and operational risks to stakeholders during shift handovers and routine reviews.
- Assist engineers with data collection, wafer disposition, experiment execution, recipe qualifications and characterization, and support technology transfer and ramp support.
- Help qualify, document and continuously improve inspection workflows and best practices, and drive adherence to quality, safety and operational excellence standards.
- Participate in troubleshooting recipe, lot flow and operational issues with tool owners and cross-functional partners.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety and operational discipline.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional, shift-based environments.
- Willingness to learn inspection methodologies, process fundamentals and semiconductor manufacturing workflows.
- Preferred: exposure to R&D, technology development, manufacturing transfers or high-volume manufacturing; experience supporting shift operations, familiarity with optical inspection recipe setup, and ability to interpret inspection results and apply disposition criteria.
Required skills
- Desirable: basic proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Python, Tableau, Power BI, JMP or similar.
- Desirable: knowledge of semiconductor process flow, wafer disposition, defect inspection concepts and process monitoring.
- Desirable: experience with optical inspection tools, metrology systems or manufacturing operations.
- Preferred: exposure to AI and generative AI used to automate routine tasks and improve productivity.
