Engineer / Senior Engineer – Command & Control Systems

About the role

Join DSTA to design, develop, integrate, test and operationalise cutting‑edge command and control systems for the Singapore Armed Forces and Public Service. You will work on military and civilian solutions that fuse real‑time data from air, land, sea and IoT sensors to enable decisive actions.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise innovative solutions using design‑thinking, incorporating sensors, IoT, unmanned systems and IT.
• Experiment with emerging technologies such as AI and Big Data to enhance resource planning, automated decision‑making and tasking.
• Conduct design reviews and system tests before transitioning to operational use.
• Collaborate with local and global partners to co‑develop state‑of‑the‑art capabilities.
• Manage and continuously improve systems to meet evolving operational requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Data Engineering, Communications, Computer Science/Engineering, IT or related field.
• Innovative mindset, strong interpersonal skills and a self‑driven, can‑do attitude.
• Willingness to travel overseas for work assignments.
