Engineer / Senior Engineer – Photo Process

About the role

We are seeking an Engineer or Senior Engineer to join the Photo Process team at SSMC, a joint venture between NXP and TSMC. The role focuses on optimizing semiconductor photo‑process capabilities and supporting production shifts in a cleanroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize process capability to meet operational needs and monitor performance indices such as Cpk.
• Perform shift duties, support production, and troubleshoot process issues.
• Implement projects to maintain process reliability and develop new equipment processes.
• Characterize and develop processes for new equipment start‑ups.
• Maintain audit documentation for internal and QA audits.
• Handle out‑of‑spec situations, decide lot disposition, and document resolutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment (fresh graduates welcome).
• Basic knowledge of semiconductor devices, electronics, digital principles and wafer fabrication.
• Strong communication, presentation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, team player with a positive learning attitude and ability to work under time pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
