Engineering Manager – Full‑Stack Team Lead

About the role

GetGo is building sustainable mobility solutions and is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a full‑stack engineering team. The role oversees front‑end, back‑end and mobile platforms, driving technical excellence and quality across multiple product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow a multi‑level full‑stack team, including hiring, coaching and upskilling engineers and QA staff.
• Own quarterly planning and resource allocation, translating business priorities into a balanced roadmap.
• Partner with Product, Design, QA and Engineering leadership to align on priorities and architectural decisions.
• Drive architectural strategy for front‑end, back‑end and mobile (iOS/Android) platforms, ensuring scalability, security and reliability.
• Champion QA by setting test strategy, quality standards and embedding a culture of built‑in quality.
• Improve engineering processes through best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD and adoption of AI‑augmented tools.

Required profile

• 9+ years of software development experience with at least 4 years in engineering leadership.
• Strong full‑stack expertise across front‑end (TypeScript, React, Svelte) and back‑end technologies, with experience in cloud‑native architectures.
• Solid background in QA methodology and test automation.
• Proven ability to plan resources, manage capacity and deliver within Agile, JIRA‑based workflows.
• Curiosity for emerging technologies, including AI‑augmented development tools.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
