Engineering Operations Manager

About the role

The Engineering Operations Manager will lead the engineering operations team to ensure equipment life‑cycle management meets GMP and regulatory standards. This role is responsible for driving reliability, cost‑efficiency and continuous improvement across all engineering activities at the Singapore site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the engineering operations team to ensure equipment life‑cycle management complies with GMP requirements.
• Oversee equipment calibration and maintenance to meet regulatory standards.
• Organise regular preventive‑maintenance (PM) reviews to minimise equipment downtime.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory, classification and safety stock to support operations at low cost.
• Coordinate capital‑expenditure projects for the engineering department and improve project‑management processes.
• Monitor quality‑system documents such as CAPA due dates, deviations and change controls to ensure timely actions.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices within the engineering function.
• Maintain the site facility, utility and process‑equipment management system, including asset data, master data registration and equipment classification based on risk assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical, electrical or related engineering.
• 10+ years of maintenance experience, including at least 3 years in a pharmaceutical plant.
• Minimum 3 years of team‑leadership experience.
