English Language Education Specialist (Part-Time)

About the role

Edcafe, an AI‑powered platform for teachers, is looking for a current or former Singapore English language teacher to join its product development team on a part‑time basis. You will help shape content and features that support primary‑level English instruction, especially for PSLE preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Create high‑quality English language files and sample content sets for primary levels (P4‑P6) using Edcafe’s tools.
• Design templates and guidelines that cover composition writing, oral communication, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.
• Collaborate with the product team to identify teacher needs, inform content strategy, and share classroom insights.
• Ensure all materials align with the MOE English Language syllabus and PSLE assessment standards, incorporating authentic Singapore contexts.
• Advise on PSLE exam requirements and common student learning challenges.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of English language teaching experience in Singapore primary schools (P4‑P6 preferred).
• Deep knowledge of the MOE English Language syllabus and PSLE exam format.
• Strong background in curriculum development and instructional design.
• Experience creating teaching resources or educational materials.
• Familiarity with AI and educational technology tools.
