About the role
Provide nursing treatment and procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse at Irene Nursing Home, ensuring resident safety and well‑being.
Key responsibilities
- Perform nursing treatments including medication administration, dressing changes and nasogastric feeding.
- Assist doctors, podiatrists, speech therapists, dieticians and senior nurses during resident examinations and treatments.
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident health, especially high‑risk individuals.
- Support residents with individualized care programmes such as oral hygiene, tube feeding, eye care, prosthetic and hearing‑aid assistance.
- Facilitate group exercise sessions and assist with toileting, meals, and changing diapers or clothing.
- Report any abnormalities, skin conditions or infections to the supervising RN promptly.
