Enterprise Risk Management Intern

About the role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is recruiting an Enterprise Risk Management Intern within its Risk Management Office for Asia, Corporate Risk Management Department (ARMO - CORP). The internship runs from 11 January 2027 to 30 June 2027 and is based in Singapore. Only Singaporean and PR students are eligible; MUFG's internship partners in Singapore include NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD and SUSS.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation of regional risk reports and management information for senior management committees.
• Support Enterprise/Operational Risk oversight and governance, including policy maintenance, risk appetite monitoring and risk management practices.
• Conduct benchmarking on emerging risks, macroeconomic developments, geopolitical risks and regulatory trends.
• Support the rollout of regional and global initiatives, including project tracking and governance.
• Support communication and coordination across regional stakeholders.

Required profile

• Undergraduate student pursuing Finance, Economics, Business, Risk Management or a related discipline.
• Interest in banking risk management.

Required skills

• Strong analytical capability.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
