Enterprise Sales Engineer (Remote – Singapore)

About the role

Chainguard is looking for an Enterprise Sales Engineer to help prospects evaluate and adopt its secure open‑source build solutions. You will translate technical requirements into compelling demonstrations, guide customers through proofs of concept, and partner with sales to close deals.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Sales Team to evaluate customer needs and prove solution value.
• Focus on acquiring new customer logos while expanding existing accounts.
• Own all technical aspects of sales opportunities, including demos, RFP/RFI responses, and proof‑of‑value engagements.
• Listen to customers, understand their challenges, and tailor presentations accordingly.
• Conduct product demonstrations, POVs/POCs, and actively participate in webinars, meetups, conferences, and other marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience as a Sales Engineer / Pre‑Sales Engineer.
• Familiarity with MEDDPICC and/or Command of the Message sales frameworks.
• 3+ years selling to Enterprise and Mid‑Market prospects.
• Startup experience and a passion for persevering to success.
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor and build credibility with customers.
• Strong team player committed to mentoring peers.

Required skills

• Container technologies: Kubernetes, Serverless, Docker.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Cloud security or container security expertise.
• Application security knowledge.
