Equipment Technician – Wafer Fab

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Equipment Technician to join our wafer fabrication plant in Singapore. You will provide first‑line maintenance, repair, and operational support for high‑volume manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and high quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine autonomous preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
• Change gas cylinders and carry out chemical etching of parts.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in tools and simple equipment, restoring full operation quickly.
• Assist the engineering team in setting up and qualifying new equipment and processes.
• Execute daily checks, monitor tool performance, and report any production or safety deviations.
• Participate as a key member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
• Own and manage spare parts inventory.

Required profile

• Nitec or Higher Nitec in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Prior experience as a Technician or in a similar equipment maintenance role, preferably in a semiconductor or cleanroom environment.
• Strong analytical and practical troubleshooting abilities.
