Executive Chef – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Lead the culinary vision of Hilton Singapore Orchard, the largest Hilton in APAC, overseeing award‑winning restaurants, banqueting, weddings and events. The Executive Chef drives culinary excellence, innovation and business performance across all outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the culinary team, fostering a high‑performance, collaborative culture.
• Oversee planning, preparation and presentation of high‑quality food across all outlets, ensuring consistency with brand standards.
• Drive menu development, seasonal offerings and culinary innovation aligned with guest preferences.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene and regulatory requirements through regular audits.
• Manage departmental budgets, food costs, inventory and purchasing to achieve profitability.
• Lead end‑to‑end culinary operations for restaurants, banquets, catering and special events, resolving operational issues proactively.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
• Executive Chef experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel or comparable restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, sanitation and local regulations, with a valid Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Proven commercial acumen in cost control, menu engineering and driving profitability.
• Demonstrated people leadership, talent development and stakeholder management skills.
