Executive Engineer – Coastal Structures

About the role

We are seeking an Executive Engineer to lead the design and analysis of coastal infrastructure such as quay walls, ports, jetties, revetments and land reclamation projects. You will work closely with project leads and design managers to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions for both local and overseas assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform C&S and geotechnical design and analysis for a range of coastal structures.
• Assist Project Lead, Project Manager and Design Manager in technical studies, environmental assessments and tender preparation.
• Plan and interpret site investigations, and manage related sub‑contracts (soil investigation, biodiversity, accredited checking).
• Supervise design and on‑site activities, ensuring compliance with statutory standards, regulations and codes of practice.
• Engage and coordinate with clients, design teams, site teams and other stakeholders.
• Support tender submissions and project pursuit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering recognised by BCA/IES/ACES.
• 2‑5 years of relevant experience on large‑scale infrastructure or reclamation projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Team player, self‑motivated and able to multitask.
• Experience in contract administration is an advantage.
